Wizarding Weekend and the TCAT ‘Knight’ Buses
To avoid traffic and delays, we are encouraging those who can to use the TCAT ‘Knight Bus’ System. All busses will run on normal schedule with normal fares on Saturday October 29th but those that bring passengers to the Downtown Ithaca stops will have a Knight Bus Image in the window. The Knight Buses are particularly useful for those in the Cornell University and Ithaca College routes (Routes 70 & 90 for Cornell Univeristy and Route 11 for Ithaca College). Route 15 is also helpful for those who can park in the public lots (Walmart off of Route 13) along the line. For full information and to plan your route CLICK HERE
An adult single-ride Zone 1 fare is $1.50 and an adult single-ride Zone 2 fare is $2.50.
The TCAT service area is divided into two fare zones. If you board in Zone 1, you pay a Zone 1 fare, no matter how far you are going. If you board in Zone 2, in the inbound direction (toward Ithaca) you pay the Zone 2 fare, no matter how fare you are going.
